We are looking for a highly-motivated and results driven individual to join the Client Experience (CE) Contact Centre Readiness Knowledge Management Team. In this role you will be involved in developing and executing communication plans and strategies to support changes that impact TELUS team members and Call Centre Operations.

As the Communications Manager you are an energetic, passionate individual who enjoys collaborating in partnership with cross-functional TELUS teams.

You are a trusted communication advisor executing on internal communications through clear, concise and comprehensive content with your outstanding verbal and written skills. Using your stellar communication editing skills and attention to detail you will play a key role in ensuring our frontline team members and leaders are prepared to provide easy and reliable service and effectively do their jobs.

  • Drive innovation by looking for new ways of working, exploring best practices and challenging communication channels in new and effective ways
  • Live a customer service orientation with a keen focus on the frontline team member experience
  • Create and curate strategic narratives/compelling storylines that connect to business objectives and to what matters most at an individual level
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and establish trust amongst Call Centre leadership teams
  • Proactively find opportunities to collaborate and leverage communication methodologies from across the business
Qualifications

  • Passion for taking risks and thinking differently
  • Deliver exceptional programs and communications that inform, engage and inspire
  • Expertise in communicating and navigating complex changes with human impacts
  • Must be able to multi-task within a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Strong understanding of the junction of Call Centre frontline environment and communications
  • You thrive working within a rapidly-evolving communications landscape
  • Enjoy collaborating on a variety of projects, and find new ways to reach and engage with the target audience
  • Implement new ideas and contribute to the continuous improvement of our communications program and processes
  • Engage in benchmarking exercises and implement the best communication practices across the organization
  • 5 years or more of communications experience
  • Undergraduate degree in a related discipline is required or extensive related business experience in a communications role
Great-to-haves
  • Adobe Creative Suite or graphic design skills
  • Call Centre experience
  • Bilingual in English and French
