Creative Content Producer

Monstercat is looking for an enthusiastic creative who is a ‘Jack’ or ‘Jill’ of all trades when it comes to multidisciplinary design and media. Our ideal candidate is optimistic, innovative, and likes to spend time experimenting within their craft to unlock new skills and ideas. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role will play a fundamental part in developing campaign assets for cross-departmental initiatives. It’s an all-encompassing position that will allow you to flex your creativity and develop original content that contributes to the overall brand vision of Monstercat. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, passionate about art, and has a keen eye for detail.

The Role…

  • Work closely with the Marketing Team and other internal stakeholders on cross-departmental campaign assets involving Apparel, Events, and Music.

  • Generate new content ideas and discuss with the Marketing team.

  • With the Apparel Team: participate in conceptualization phase, design and create both graphic materials and video assets to support ecommerce and advertising placements for product launch, create content to both tease upcoming products and to highlight previously released products

  • With the Marketing Team: provide support in creating innovative content for ad and social placement that engages fans. This would include, but is not limited to: Instagram story captures, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter posts, TikTok videos, Behind the Scenes content, etc. Work with the Marketing Team to ensure content coming from each department is in correct formatting and fits within the company and brand strategy. Work with the Social Media Manager to support the creation of weekly pieces of unique content for our social channels.

  • With the Music Team: liaise with respective team members to stay informed when artists and notable individuals are in town to capture content, execute photo and video coverage of these occurrences both for social placement, track releases, and for future repurposed content.

  • With the Events Team: participate in the conceptualization phase, design and create both graphic materials and video assets to support event launches and drive ticket sales. This role may require traveling to our events to capture photo and video content on site.

 

About You…

  • 2+ years professional videography and video editing experience

  • 2+ years professional photography and photo editing (Lightroom, Photoshop) experience

  • Demonstrated full knowledge of Adobe CC software

  • Ability to manage time effectively to anticipate deadlines

  • Great attention to detail and a passion for producing quality work

  • Experience shooting content for a DJ, musician, or music event – a bonus

  • Experience shooting content for a lifestyle brand – an asset

  • Experience in motion graphics – a bonus
