Digital Marketing Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team to identify strategic opportunities, implement online initiatives, and measure progress. The responsibilities include building and benchmarking brand awareness activities through online advertising, automated e-mail marketing campaigns, lead nurturing programs, and referral traffic strategies. The role requires a passion for analytics and reporting to uncover results for strategic opportunities. The goal is to reach our target audience in the digital world, increase brand awareness, attract customers, and create detailed reports for ROI.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead and strategically manage a Digital Marketing team
  • Increase website traffic through paid, organic, referral, email, and social channels
  • Benchmark and measure digital marketing activity results
  • Execute digital marketing activities, such as email marketing campaigns and paid advertising, to increase brand awareness, generate website traffic and improve conversions
  • Create and modify content for digital ads, website copy, referral sites, emails, and social media
  • Write, review, proof-read, and edit marketing communications
  • Maintain digital marketing budgets and report monthly metrics on all activities
  • Produce comparative reports through Google Analytics to measure website metrics
  • Implement lead nurturing programs to engage prospects throughout the buying process
  • Learn and consider SEO best practices to measure and increase organic traffic
  • Create competitive analysis reports to uncover competitors’ strategies and identify new opportunities
  • Analyze data to communicate key findings and actionable insights to members of the team
  • Achieve targeted marketing goals and KPI’s
  • Continuous research to improve knowledge of digital marketing strategies and online tools
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of tactics, tools, technology, and processes
  • Continuous research of cannabis industry, regulations, plants, products, and cultivation
  • Perform other related duties as required and requested by the Chief Marketing Officer


  • Completion of a post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, and/or another related field
  • 5+ years of working digital marketing experience
  • Fluent in English (French is an asset)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of online advertising, PPC, media buying, and reporting
  • Knowledge and experience of online digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Hubspot, Meltwater, website platforms, etc.
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Driven marketer who loves to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement based on findings

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

Security Clearance : Security Clearance may be requested for this position

Working Hours: Salaried Position: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
