Marketing Production Coordinator

We’re looking for a marketing production coordinator who can coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with skill and enthusiasm and loves to work with a variety of internal and external contacts. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and implement creative production and multi-media projects for marketing initiatives that help us promote workplace health and safety and make a difference in the lives of workers and employers of B.C.

What you’ll do

As a marketing production coordinator you will:

  • Coordinate with internal creative services teams (such as graphic design and video) on the production of materials and creative assets in order to deliver messages to target audiences, and be responsible for quality control of deliverables and project monitoring from pre-to-post production
  • Be an administrative, consultative, creative, and technical resource regarding marketing and brand principles and marketing channels, as well as print, video, and creative production
  • Discuss and analyze need, objectives, scope, production timelines, workflows, budget, and creative approval with clients as well as managing the clients’ expectations around timing and costs
  • Present creative concepts to internal clients and receive feedback for review and approval, and collaborate with the client and creative services team on edits and changes to ensure proper use of WorkSafeBC Experience guidelines, standards, and tone
  • Contract and coordinate the work of internal and external resources such as writers, editors, designers, photographers, pre-press service bureaus, and printers and monitor all processes to ensure the delivery of marketing materials on time and on budget
  • Review and edit a range of materials such as brochures, video scripts, signage, displays, posters, and newsletters and deliver marketing materials with prescribed corporate style and standards

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Work with creative services teams to coordinate projects, production timelines, creative assets, and service requests that are aligned to the corporate style, standards, and brand
  • Coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously by working with a variety of internal and external contacts including clients, service providers, and colleagues to ensure projects and initiatives are delivered on time and on budget
  • Work effectively as a member of a team by building relationships and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Use tact and stay calm when faced with high pressure situations such as multiple, tight deadlines, and last minute client requests
  • Prepare and present creative concepts and marketing production plans for a variety of audiences
  • Research, write, edit, and proofread creative content, including scripts and production briefs
  • Travel within B.C., at times on weekends

Your experience and educational background:

  • A degree with a focus in marketing, communications, or business administration
  • A minimum of three years of experience in planning and coordinating creative services and multi-media projects, and overseeing creative production schedules
  • Experience using workflow planning software for project and production scheduling (Microsoft Teams, Workamjig, ActiveCollab, StudioBinder)
  • Must have a valid BC driver’s licence
