Responsibilities

  • Work with external vendors and internal team members to assess and successfully implement Marketing technology tools and projects, for example, marketing automation, CRM, predictive lead scoring, advertising platforms, ABM platforms, A/B testing platforms, data cleansing, chat, etc.
  • Plan, track and lead projects outsourced to web, analytics, marketing automation and other technology vendors and drive the project to success
  • Design and maintain integration points between corporate website, marketing automation platform, customer relationship management platform and any other system
  • Along with other members of the digital marketing team, drive web content management and web development, including processes, standards, and best practices; work with external vendors and IT/IS
  • Engage with external vendors and internal team members to evolve the online and web user experience; implement common processes to improve efficiency and optimize budget spend
  • Design new functionalities and support and maintain existing properties on our content management system and other technology platforms and properties
  • Act as super-user of all Marketing technologies; train users and trouble-shoot operational issues
  • Provide input into marketing technology roadmaps and planning, negotiating needs between business and technical constraints
  • Track, troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner, triaging as required
  • Ensure business continuity with planning/preparing and performing website disaster recovery plans
  • Manage domains, internal help tickets

Requirements

  • A passion for, and experience with, creating and delivering compelling user experiences
  • A keen interest in learning about, sharing and implementing the latest trends in web, user experience and Marketing technology
  • Experience in selecting and implementing Marketing technology and tools to meet the needs of the business
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation, CRM and web content management tools, including experience with APIs from these tools
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in test-driven, continuous integration web development environment (back-end unit-testing, front-end unit-testing, behaviour and integration testing)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with languages/platforms such as Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, JavaScript, Angular JS, jQuery, Ajax, CSS, DHTML, HTML5, XML, CSS
  • Very strong ability to learn new technology tools
  • Excellent knowledge of web development techniques across multiple web-enabled devices like PC, mobile and tablet, including techniques like responsive/adaptive web design
  • Demonstrated proficiency in web interface design, development and web technologies; designing and coding rich media sites; web usability; web site accessibility guidelines; quality assurance testing
  • An understanding of web accessibility and search engine optimization techniques
  • Experience with databases and data-driven website design (MS SQL Server)
  • Very strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Experience managing complex projects with many stakeholders
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
