Retail Marketing Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Retail Marketing Manager and sales team with in-store displays and events
  • Cultivate relationships and regular communication with retailers across the country
  • Work cross- functionally with multiple departments
  • Assist with the retail planning, execution and development strategy
  • Source suppliers and conduct price comparisons
  • Ability to make quick decisions while thinking strategically
  • In-store activation experience
  • Work with the Retail Marketing Manager to identify new and relevant ways for our brands to be seen, felt and experienced by our consumers
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to juggle changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude in the face of challenging deliverables
  • You are an efficient and highly effective communicator
  • Attention to detail and analysis
  • Feed into the creative process including being able to evaluate and give feedback to ensure creative delivers to our strategy
  • A knack for writing copy
  • Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends reports to uncover competitors strategies and identify new opportunities
  • Achieve targeted marketing goals and KPI’s
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of tactics, tools, technology, and processes
  • Some travel may be required
  • Any other duties as required or needed


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or another related field
  • 3+ years of marketing industry experience in the retail or advertising sector
  • Experience with event planning is an asset
  • Fluent in English (Fluency in French is an asset)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and presentation skills
  • Be a quick and proactive learner and can work independently
  • Be knowledgeable and have a strong understanding of traditional marketing and social media marketing
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Driven marketer who loves to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement based on findings
  • Knowledge of Illustrator/ Photoshop or In-Design is considered an asset
  • Experience with photography skills are an asset

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

Security Clearance : Security Clearance may be requested for this position

Working Hours: Salaried Position: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
