Social Media Manager

IUGO is seeking a Social Media Manager to help drive and execute the social marketing strategy for our next-generation mobile games. IUGO is one of Vancouver’s leading mobile game studios, responsible for multiple top-grossing F2P games such as The Walking Dead: Road to Survival and Knights & Dragons.

The ideal candidate will have experience in development of marketing strategies for digital products, performance marketing and creatives optimization. Excellent operational leadership, strong knowledge in user acquisition processes and working experience with major Ad networks are necessary for this role.


  • Implement & manage IUGO’s social media strategy and day-to-day activity. Manage multi-channel strategy for Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, Discord
  • Implement and manage social media campaigns and track their success
  • Manage user acquisition on ad-networks
  • App-store optimization for mobile products
  • Work with creatives and analytics to drive marketing strategy
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence
  • Measure success of social media presence and highlight trends
  • Work with game teams to understand upcoming features, content & promotions. Plan content creation (videos, images) according to strategy
  • Listen and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and industry and monitor for brand related topics of conversation
  • Identify and engage industry and community champions
  • Write blog posts and other social media content
  • Design graphic-oriented content for publication


  • 1-3 years experience in social media and community-based marketing
  • Passion for all aspects of marketing & publishing mobile games
  • Demonstrated experience growing social audience
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram etc.) and the appropriate use of each
  • Deep understanding of how to drive user growth and lifetime value
  • Comfort reaching out and engaging with influencers on multiple platforms
  • Comfortable creating basic graphic content in a short time frame
  • Ability to learn quickly


  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application. Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
  • Deep understanding of how to drive user growth and lifetime value
  • Experience using social scheduling and engagement tools such as Hootsuite and SproutSocial
  • Comfortable creating basic graphic content in a short time frame
  • Experience with social media scheduling systems
